In October 2012, 73 year old Harry Reid suffered only minor, visible, injuries in a car crash in Las Vegas, NV.
Seems Harry Reid has decided that a dysfunctional Congress can be rectified by having an official recess called in the ""busy"" Senate schedule yesterday to watch a special screening of the Spielberg film "Lincoln" in order that those irksome Senators from the Republican side of the aisle will draw inspiration on how to do their jobs.
Interestingly, Congress in Lincoln's time was most notable for its corruption, back room underhanded unethical deals, dirty politics and scapegoating - but according to Reid the film exemplifies the "nobility of politics" . And of course he should know, “For me, it’s what I work with every day...".
I think a swift boot to the ASS - yours in particular HARRY, is more in order than a bucket of popcorn!
Wonder what my boss would think about me taking a couple hours off the job to go see "Django, unchained" to gather some inspiration for improving race relations in the workplace environment?
